First of a new series I'll post from time to time (When do I NOT post things in serial form - LOL)...The Robie House (constructed 1905) was one of famous architect Frank Lloyd Wright's early "Prairie Style" designed houses...

Very modern house for that time and interesting to hear some history. Very nice and funny framing here. The whole thing is very different to all I know you for, but still, I like it.

I don't care for his style of architecture, but he was quite popular for a time. The image though is nicely composed and well taken.

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes

He was certainly innovative and way ahead of his time. I'm somewhat familiar with his works, and seem to remember one that involved all glass. I'm definitely looking forward to more from you, Mr. Jhihomac!!!
