"...Take notice of the Winding Road of the Serpent, for it is the main thoroughfare within the Darklands of Zeriaan...Some may wander aimlessly upon it for hundreds, even thousands of miles...While others need only trod a small fraction of that distance...Yet the end result is always the same...Straight to the side of Monster Mountain, into the place they call the Forgotten Portal..."

The centerpiece of this concoction is actually taken (with permission) from a recent post from our own Owde Bob...Another view of the same thing is this image, also from the same "Dark Knight"...That's two I owe ya...Owde Sot! (LOL)

Also, here's a tune dedicated to all the unusual "dark thinkers" that are part of the Caedes Community! The video that goes with it is awesome! Enjoy!

BIBLE BLACK

(Heaven and Hell - a.k.a. Black Sabbath)

Official Video

At last alone, his fire's dying...
Burned another day...
Now to pretend and make up an ending...
Somewhere far away...

He reached for a book all bound in leather,
Something that he knows he's never read,
And the first page says beware
You've found the answer,
The next one says I wish that you were dead...

Don't go out, put it back
You're reading from the Bible Black...
(Black, black, black ...)

What's this word I see?
Who are you and who are me
Maybe I just stumbled in the dark...
I must have been out cold,
But the way the story's told
They found me lying naked in the rain...Yeah...

Let me go I've seen a vision,
But the line has left me blind,
Take me back, I must have the Bible Black...

Well, here I go again...
From the start to the end,
I wish I could remember what I've done...

Let me go I've found addiction
and it makes me feel alive...
Take me back...I must have the Bible Black...

(Guitar Solo)

He locks himself away and tastes the silence,
Hungry for another bite of wrong...
And just the words, "Oh Lord, please take me with you..."
Took him to a place we don't belong...

Let him go...he can't come back
He's reading from the Bible Black...
(Black, black, black ...)

So if your fine with dying...
And what's the use of trying...
You're reading from the Bible Black...

When I saw the photograph, and when I saw the video and was left speechless (which very rarely happens to me).
I am not a fan of this style of music, but what I saw I liked very much - and photography and video. Music - that "black lyric" is fantastic. I am convinced that when my son Oleg and his girlfriend Darina see it, many will like it. They are fans of this style.

I can hear them chanting Yogi. I like the textures in this and you utilized Owd Timer's photo very well. Good creation.

An amazing transformation, Ron! I really like the lighting and the look of stucco texture, and the orange glow! But, I especially like the mountainous structure in the background, and the raised gate! Outstanding work! Fav+
