Ok, you know me.. and where words are concerned. (Thanks to having kissed 'The Blarney Stone', not once ... but, twice (true say).)
The following comes with the caveat that I am viewing your image here on a CRT monitor..
A tad dark.
Particularly, and in reference to some of the nice touches to the inset framing. So..
Downloaded your image here and brightened things up and in doing so.. sharpened things somewhat (simple High Pass Method - Blending Mode; Soft Light .. Radius; 2.0 .. knocked back some on the Opacity to 65%), as well.
Which, I think ... provided some assists in delineating the dragonfly's eyes and more so, it's body (thorax, tail, etc.).
/\ Just some thoughts, 'tis all.
Curious if 'we' can expect some more images along this creative line?
