I took this shot up at Maumee Bay State Park, near Toledo, Ohio, and the ducks were out in force. I am not exactly sure what that structure is, but to me, it looks like a homemade lighthouse. It's been there for years, and the top is made of wood, or so it appears from close up.

They are pretty well spread out..so buckshot won't do much damage eh!....

They are mostly all swimming in the same direction. Probably on their way to a meeting of the ODU (Ohio Ducks Union). The structure looks like a lookout station or it was a beacon and when they removed the light they made that wooden construction. Nice shot Jimbob.

Jimbob, because the ducks have a lack of good lighting now in the nightly hours, think that they are asking: "Let this little light shine (again)." (lol).

Must be fish a plenty in this part of the Lake JimBob and those ducks are searching them out. The structure looks like a small lighthouse to me also. Very pretty scene.
