Here's a BEFORE shot of the bridge. It got all new siding and a new floor and roof. A lot of the historic value is gone, but at least it is still there to enjoy.

This is a postcard perfect photo of the renovated bridge. Fantastic capture. I like it all especially the details in the highlights and shadows.

While I prefer the older, original version of the bridge; this make for a beautiful setting and photo. Well done, Jimbob.

Nice to see the whole bridge renovated! The old one looks more rustic, but it will last longer and reminds of days gone by.

I grew up (in Ohio) with a love for covered bridges and I love the shots You've shared of the Mull Bridge, both before and after renovations. This shot with the beautiful sky is (as Russ stated) postcard perfect. Even though I love the look of the old bridge, I am thrilled that the bridge will have an even longer life due to renovations. This is a great image of the bridge in its beautiful, peaceful setting, JimBob.

Jimbob, this is picture perfect, I wonder if you could show this to the county office where the bridge is located. I do prefer the older structure for the historic value, but now it can last for a very long time, and was worth saving. tigs=^..^=

I too like the older version - I wonder why they didn't used a weathered grey wood that would have more closely matched the original rather than the red. Having said that, this shot is excellent Jim and I like how the light comes under the bridge - it really highlights the structure that way.

You captured the renovated bridge just perfectly Jimbob - the overall scenery is quite lovely - I see they have provided information posted on a sign to the left and also a nice bench - I do like the old bridge better - the new renovation could have been given a bit of a rustic effect - Excellent Shot!!!!!!!!!

Jimbob, for photographic reasons I prefer the old one. For crossing the stream however, this one is my favorite. Safety has a higher priority rather than beauty. That's life mate, lol!
Good one!!
