This is the smaller castle on Pollepel island. Taking photos on this island is tough to say the least. you either have your back against a cliff or some of the islands abundant wild vegetation. I spent a good amount of time waiting for the sixty other tourists to get out of the shots.But we had a great time, Heres another LINK to this great island in the middle of the Hudson River.

This is a cool shot, Jim, and I bet you could turn it into a really neat Halloween shot with a little trickery in PS or something. I don't think we have any structures like this around here, that I know of anyway. It makes for a great shot. Well done, Mr.I'maBrettFavreFanNow.

Amazing what's going on here. It is just decaying it appears, but was once quite beautiful. I know what you mean about the tourists. They sure are bothersome! lol
