An overcast day and soft light from everywhere. An observent eye and a slow walk. A beauty seen but rarely captured...Picture taken whilst on holiday in Scotland....Please enjoy.
Thomas Edison didn't have anything on you. You are a master at lighting. That's what hit me first on this one. I can smell the rain in the air this is so good. That cloud is great.\
Good post Mick.
No trees were killed in the sending of this message. However, a large number of electrons were terribly inconvenienced.
COME ON YOU GREENS, UP THE ARGYLE.....
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16
Well now you've gone and done it Mick. I'm not going to post anymore, I'm just gonna sit here and wait for you to post! Another fabulous creation of the light!
"'Life is not a journey to the grave with the
intention of arriving safely in a pretty
and well preserved body,
but rather to skid in broadside,
thoroughly used up,
totally worn out,
and loudly proclaiming,
"WOW! What a ride!"'
Another wondrous composition of colours and light. This landscape with its curves is so pleasing, and of course, I love that ominous sky. Wonderful work Mick. :)
Mick, I have to say not your best, but your standards are so high it's still excellent! I like the shadowing you use in your pictures, and how there seems to be an area where the colour is more prominent, drawing the viewer in. I like the sloping lines of the hills here too.
Beautifully well-observed as always. The way you've used the hedges in this is very good, parallel lines out into the distance echoing the slope of the hill. In the hands of many this would have been flat and uninteresting but in yours it's a terrific shot.
