This homemade latch caught my eye on a 100 year old plus barn in TN . I thought it had weathered quite nicely and needed no editing.

This is the simplest form of a latch. I like that bent nail :) Nice capture Marsha.

You must have propped up on something for this shot, it's very

sharp and that wood is talking to me.

What up! did you hear it too?

Out house had home made latches too, Jen-Nay. They wanted everyone to be able to enter in a hurry. Wonderful textures.

An interesting bit of door hardware. I hope they never lose the key and have to replace it with something more modern. Great textures and colour tones in the weathered old wood.

Great detail and texture Marsha.
Your images show what a great eye you have for finding interesting pictures.
This one makes me want to lift the latch and see what is beyond :)

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
