He was labled unreliable , untrustworthy some even called him crazy . But a young girl saw potential in him even though he wouldn't look her in the eye . The moment I saw him I also saw potential in him . Sadly I also saw a spirit that had been broken , there was no doubt in my mind ... he wasn't crazy , he had been abused. He was afraid of everything but through hard work , love and the faith of a young girl he decided to join her in a partnership that turned both of their lives around . I am happy to report that these two had a successful show season this year ... proving that Second Chances do work and dreams do come true.

The same as with dogs - a dog that has been mishandled for a long time will need much love and care and time to find its true nature again. Nice shot and narrative Marsha.

It's such a shame how many animals are mistreated, where ever we live!...The shot makes the horse look timid..good post to show us that it is being loved and cared for

That's a great story, Marsha, and a great shot, too. How can anyone mistreat animals? I don't get it!

What a wonderfully inspiring story Marsha with a happy ending too - too many abused animal stories end with sadness. The image is excellent.

It's a lovely shot, with a great background. I'm sure those white circles are necessary, but they're a major distracrion and definitely affect the aesthetics of this image.
