Lance - This is terrific find; heron are skittish and don't let you get too close. I like the water with its reflections and rocks from the shallow bottom being seen. The heron is harder to see because of the bright lighting and stark contrast on its body. Thad

Nice shot. Captured it well. Agree with Lucky, thou, might have lowered the elevation of the camera to capture the bird's silhouette, or to give the bird more definition. .
