"I know I'm a duckling, and one day I will be a duck . . . .but it is a long way down!!" . . . . . I know this picture is very far from perfect but it was such a cute duckling and I though it was worth sharing. He eventually did take the plunge and joined his mother and siblings but I watched him thinking about it for a long time :)

This is really cute. The anticipation is written all over him. I'm betting this one makes the permanent galleries. Nicely done.

What nice picture. The duck and still this way young. I hope that he can live long. Living a young animal is frequently hard.

I'm standing in the crowd peeking over the top of everyone to see if I can get a better view of what that little guy is hanging on to before he decides that it's time to join the crew down below. That's the only criticism I could possibly have of this adorable view. Your c index tells me that everyone else "got" it, but visually I'm having a hard time placing him. Help!!! Great job overall of course :)PJ

I missed this one, Lyn. My husband's birthday that day. He's a cute little fellow who looks big filling up the frame. The blue of the rock is a nice complement to his brown and the framing is perfect.

Oh Eve, he is gorgeous I can almost hear him thinking “will I or won’t I”. Love the catch lights though his feathers and the wee bit of rimlight.

A capture that touches the heart strings. What an excellent photo opportunity. Terrific details of this lil guy - all those fluffy feathers, and it looks like he's using all his strength to keep from falling :) The frame is very attractive with the light blue border included. Very good job Lyn :*>
