From my garden - for Friday :) The paeony is named after Paeon,the Greek god of medicine and healing. Taken with Canon 450D (60mm macro lens). Thank you for viewing. Any comments appreciated and valued .

I don't see many white peonies. Most of them round here are red.
A very difficult flower to transplant - and to photograph.
But you've done a sterling job on this one Lyn.

Sooo very beautiful Lyn. We have a white peonie in our garden too and I love it. Now it will take several month to see the flowers again. Thank you for sharing this beauty!

The paeony blooms in the latter part of May here LE. Many people plant them in the cemeteries so they will be in bloom on our Memorial Day. A wonderful presentation.
