Even with dark stormy skies above, the glacial southern lakes of New Zealand retain some of their beautiful colour. I am in love with that colour !
When I was a child in a far away country I used to dream of turquoise lakes. My other dream of becoming a ballerina (when about 5 !) never got off the ground, but this one did.

Spend a few minutes each day being grateful for what you have and who you have to share it with.
You have such fantastic skies Lyn - whether sunset skies or storm skies they have a much stronger and vivid appearance as though nature has added more contrast and saturation! Very nice and threatening sky - will make a very good entry for the contest.
