He sits there, like an ornament, deep in thought. Max is dreaming of the days when this cabinet, formerly known as Maxi's Bunk, was in his living room. Every night when tired of his comfortable couch he would leap up on it, stretch out full length, and sleeeeep.
But the humans moved his bunk to another room! He just does not understand ! So he sits here, thinking, never lying down because things are not quite right. Then he leaps off and runs to where it used to be, gazing at the spot that was his bunk and wonders how he can leap on to something that is not there.
Then he gives up and returns to his couch. Maybe one day he will figure it out.

The "Ornamental Cat" is probably a Feng shui expert. He knows in which direction his head must be when he sleeps and whether there is a water vein underneath etc. Very nice capture however, Lyn.

I once moved a end table that one of my felines had taken a fancy to. He just calmly took over the new bookcase put in it's place by removing the things in his way by pushing them on the floor!

People are like cameras--sometimes they lose focus.
A gorgeous chap he is Lyn. I recognise that look as our cat use to lie on top of our old TV, which was an old cathode-ray tube model so was huge (and warm!). When we bought a new ultra-thin LCD TV it threw her completely and she still sits and stares at the TV thinking, "Why can't I sit up there?"

Oh, I would have moved the piece of furniture back to its old place. What is the problem if the cat's happiness is at stake ?! LOL
