A drive out to the local sunflower fields. I took my camera (the Canon) and my iPhone 12. This is a phone shot. The cameral ones disappointingly all had washed out skies. The story of these sunflowers

If you hadn't been such an experienced photographer, I might have given you a well-intentioned advice to prevent washed out skies in DSLR photographs, but that probably might not have solved your problem.
It's remarkable that a cell phone camera hasn't this problem.
However, the result, being a beautiful capture, counts!

Terrific capture of this beautiful field. We don't see many here. They say the Sunflower turns toward the sun during the day, don't know if that is true or not.
