This is the town-hall with bell-tower (1377) of small town Dendermonde. It was completely destroyed by the Germans during the first worldwar on 17 september 1914 and rebuilt punctually in 1920 - 1924. Dendermonde - East Flanders - Belgium

What a total shame to loose a tower from 1377 ! but the restauration went well, what a nice view you have posted for us, overlooking the square !
Of cource, i had heard the name Dendermonde before, but had no idea what it would
look like, and it is certanly not disapointing ! Thanks for the posting !
