Some may say that capturing that strong beam of light is something of artistic interest, but you don't want kind comments huh! Criticism from my point of view is it's a tad too colourful, & seems to have special effects applied that differs from the original scene.

Please don't give me any creds yet SAM not until you get more comments. Lol

Wow this is such a fresh looking photography with lovely natural colours and great light and detail too.Plus I like the dappled sunlight that is running over the forest floor and the ray if the sun is perfect too.

I know exactly what is wrong with this post SAM...it's missing SAAB! I won't tell you this is a good shot...based on your request. Keep trying my friend.

(this is an excellent photo!)

Oh Marzena...it is hard for me to be cruel. I guess the only thing I would have done with your image is to have blocked the sun rays from going in front of the center trees and let it appear to fall behind them. Good job and I want you to know that I'm still searching for that perfect forest image myself. Best wishes to you and Boris.

No kind comments??? Ummm I hope that you have given matching sunglasses to Boris...in a more masculine design, of course! Those *are* sunglasses on your ID??

The forest looks otherworldly! :)

Rays of hope is what comes to mind for me SAM, I agree with Frank about the rays being behind the trees, I will not say good or bad, but keep at it. :) SAS♥ =^..^=

You could alter the format by cropping in from the Right border to just beyond the tree in the Right foreground. That will put more emphasis on the light beams.

Hi boss. I agree on the Doug's suggestion to crop the right side to bring more focus to your wonderful light beam. I would also want to take a look at changing the picture by widening a bit. More landscaped, without losing any of the power of the picture. You would have to play with it to see what it could tolerate. It looks, to me, that on the left lower side, you may have done some cloning because I see the reiteration of the same pattern, four times. You could play with your cloning tool and make that look more natural. If you are using PhotoShop, you may want to see what the Red Burst and the Yellow Burst could add to your color presentation. Maybe nothing, but it could be fun to check it out. But, commander, the ray of light is terrific and you caught it very well.

Very good capture with the sun's rays falling through the gaps in the trees. Nothing wrong with this image. It is a super shot SAM. The only fault is the discoloration of the tree caused by the sun.

Personally!...I think I would have cropped off the top where the exposure is strongest!..and just have the beams flowing through the trees!

But it is 'NICE' too....so there!

Perhaps the rays of light a bit more diffuse, super shot all the same, and I find a little hard on you even on this shot. Great capture, Sam!!!

There is only one thing wrong about the picture: I am missing, Marzena. I am absolutely serious. Why didn't you tell me you were going out for a walk? I thought we had a deal: I am taking Boris out to the sunny summer fields and you invite me for a walk to the forest, hmmm...

Ok - I would have cropped off the top portion where the white light is too dazzling for my tender eyes and just left the lower rays visible. Like John I immediately noticed the lower left cloning (Oh gosh you did not clone out Boris did you?) I personally enjoy the dappled sunlight on the forest floor more than the rays.
Now I shall disobey orders and say I really like the image because it is so inviting and leads me right into the picture -

It's a beautiful scene but would also think it would be a touch better if you cropped some of the right as Doug suggested.

Where's the undergrowth? I've seen lawns that are less well manicured than this forest floor. I've worked in some forests where you take two steps back to take one step forward. I could practically dance across this one.
I'll agree with the cropping suggestions and some work could be done on your cloning skills. Maybe add a little vignetting around the edges. A lovely forest scene in your capture, SAM. WAS
