I think this is just lovely! I love how sharp the flowers are in the forefront..and the mountains are a bit faded...I like that effect, maybe you arent used to doing that? You probably like the mountains to show up real sharp...but I tell you, this is just a wonderful photo. The colours of the flowers and then sky being so blue, well, its just awesome...verena

Lovely scene and lovely blue flowers. Are they forget-me-nots? I don't know what you think is wrong with it, but I know the feeling of not being sure about it.

I agree with verenabloo that you may not be used to seeing the background faded a bit. I personally like it a lot, not to say I don't like sharp backgrounds, but this just pulls together wonderfully :)PJ

Wow. Amazing picture man. A friend told me that some of my pictures are "ok" and some a little good, but that in general that they're kind of normal, that they lack technique or a "little something". By seeing this pic, it makes me think of some stuff I might be lacking. Thanks for sharing it Milo!

Excellent perspective. This is different from a lot of compositions. I like how the emphsais is on the immediate foreground with the background showing just enough detail to draw in the eye for a quick peek. Nicely done.

This is a most wonderful composition, well framed, I think what has got you irritated is the flowers taking up the majority of the frame, I think perhaps if you had them so they didn't overlap the mountain and valley... I think if you had raised the camera just a tad so there's not so much flower stem, and more valley/mountain shown in that area you may have been a little more satisfied... That is not to say that this shot is not absolutely gorgeous and deserving to be in favorites though ;) Great job!

Joel

I can't see why you shouldn't be anything less than pleased as punch with the composition of your photo. It's splendid. The depth of field goes on forever. The layers of the shot are superbly well proportioned too. I really like the flowers of the meadow in the foreground - they are so very well in tune with the short-range focal length of the camera you're using. Top marks and complete satisfaction from me!!

You should be pleased with this one. It is very good. If you were looking for something that makes you feel it is not very good you might consider the left and right side of the photo. The left side is very bright and the right side is fairly dark making the photo slightly unbalanced. But on the other hand, I wish it were mine. Please post more.
