One of the few creeks I found in the Warrumbungles that did have any water in it. You can see from the flood debris jammed in the V of the trees that it has flash floods from time to time.

Enjoy.

Mikel.

This could be in the back yard, Mikel. I am glad that Australia and Massachusetts have things in common and you would know since you've been here. This is to me a comforting scene because I love the quiet and gentle beauty of the forest. Here I like that you have included the fallen tree and the sunlight hitting the water is captured so very well. An all around lovely and inviting image.

When I looked at this, I straight away thought of my home town of Silkwood and Liverpool creek. It has many little creeks like this one which flow into it. After the floods they looked just like this. Thanks for reminding me how much I enjoyed them. Excellent capture. Lyn.
