Just to the right of this image is suburban housing but from the road or those houses you don't see this sweet little gully. Amazing how much difference in perspective even a twenty metre walk can make! The Pentax K20D last week.

Enjoy.

Mikel.

Sweet take on this pal...I would like to have seen more detail in those trees...but the camera's exposure was fooled by that wonderful sky!...

Stunning is the word I'm looking for!..

I really like this view and the sky makes an interesting addition. MIGHT I suggest you remove the one sign of man: the little stake.

Love the view of that gully. Especially the vibrant color contrasts. Cloud is a bonus.

Mikel, working in the RAW format has allowed you to consistently bring out some of the most dramatic and flawless colors on the site. Here we have another such example. The composition, clarity and focus are good, but the colors simply bring it to life.

I just gave this a 10 in the VB. Had to stop down and share it with ya! I don't give that number out too much. How the flow of the ground and the sky make for such a great balance. Not to mention the colors. Nice choice of comp.
