I rarely contribute to Foofy Friday but nothing is written in stone. Bob tells me this is called a "Dog Rose" in the UK. It doesn't look like an Australian Native flower to me so I'm happy to go with the UK title. Late afternoon sunlight from behind.

Enjoy.

Mikel.

No trees were killed in the sending of this message. However, a large number of electrons were terribly inconvenienced.

Have to agree with Bob too. Got some Dogwoods here that look just like it. Love how the petals are almost see-through! Great job.

I like the way this dog rose is lit Mikel and it is such a pretty color - I think I would call it "shrimp" but others may think it "peach." Anyway, you've presented it very well. (I wonder why it is called a "dog" rose.)

Very interesting shot Mikel.
The transparency of the petals is very beautiful.
Well done.
