A ridge of land that was squashed between two faults and pushed up, as it pushed up slowly, the Molonglo river slowly kept chewing it's course so that this gorge was created and the river was never diverted by the rising ridge. I went walking here on Saturday but then noticed I'd lost my keys, traced my steps, and all the clambering over rocks hoping to find the keys to my car and my house and my office, nada. Turns out they were under the front seat of my car and I had to break a window to get into my car to get them. So, will have to go back here another time for more shots, but I got a few which I'll share.

Enjoy.

Mikel.

A car window can be replaced Mikel. Think that, in spite of this material dammage, you're glad to have back your keys. Think that, on the other hand, we are lucky that you've captured this fine scene before they got lost, so that we still can enjoy it's beauty

Well done (the photograph but not the keys, lol).

Regards, Cornelius.

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . Love the details along the ridge. Great details about the river and surroundings. I advise the men in my family to put one spare key in their wallet! : )At least one that opens the doors.
