The lighting is so great in the pieces that you picked out that it came out very dramatic and very much about the soul of the music. Good job.

There's no major changes from the originals, but it's composed quite nicely. It's good to see the originals, but it doesn't give you credit for selecting and bringing them together. I think this is a fantastic idea that you can take A LOT further, the images still seem quite seperate at the moment. My opinion is that it has a lot of potential. It does bring across the mood of the music and i really do like it. This is an image that has sooooooooooooo' much potential that it's worth spending days on. Good luck , nice work.

I am going to start with, I love the subject.. The b/w adds drama.. Lighting is supurb.. All round great image..

You did an excellent job on this image. The lighting which opposes itself on the two faces, and the placement of the foreground subject really makes the viewer stop and study the piece. I very much like the way the left edge of the horn coincides with the edge of the paper. The two subjects' expressions are well-chosen too. This piece really has nothing wrong with it.

I am going to agree with Kilie on this one. I have seen so many stock image combos that are so blended and complicated that I hardly know what the initial intent was. I am a big fan of clean and useable for my desktop and a huge fan of music so this one very much works for me. Well done.

This isn't nearly as seamless or indepth as grimbug's, but I like it just the same. The dramatic lighting really makes the image, and the contrast is excellent. Wise move on the b&w. If I was to recommend something to work on, it would be in making these types of images feel more like a scene and less like a photo album, so piecing them togethor on a type of set may have been more productive. Regardless, I like it a lot.

Just a side thought...you notice how little like politicians these greats appear physically. Isn't it cool how it doesn't matter?

I like this manipulation heaps. It really does have a feeling of music, and as i play music, this really appeals to me. It's definetely a good image to be in B & W. Great work.
