At first I read Cooper as copper and thought that that was what accounted for the slight greenish cast to the water!! But no mind, it's beautiful all the same!
"The artist is a receptacle for emotions that come from all over the place; from the sky, from the earth, from a scrap of paper, from a passing shape, from a spider’s web." Pablo Picasso
This is a lovely picture, with such a beautiful landscape and so vibrant in colour. I would love to see something like this for real some day. Thanks for sharing.
I'm struck by the difference in the trees. On this side of the bank they seem to be deciduous, but on the other side it's all conifers. It's like it's warmer this side than the other. I wonder if you need to adjust the colour as PJ suggests, but I do love the way you catch the monumental scale of Alaska. Another great post Pam, thanks for feeding my imagination!
