Some green vegetation taken at a friend's house from rainy Oregon. I think she lives in a rain forest.

Is your friend a vegetarian? What a lovely shot. It is so nice to see green again. Love the use of light and shadows.

Nice post Pam

I think Oregon is a temperate rain forest, actually. Beautiful greens, and I'm hoping to capture some of these real soon myself.

Well, here in Oregon we have very distinct areas. West of the Cascade Mountain range, we have mostly valleys, Evergreens, and waterfalls and ferns...then East of the Cascades we have the desert..hot and dry. Up in the Mountains, there are tons of areas with this look, greenery in abundance, many waterfalls, and yet there is an area where it is High Desert too. Then at the Coast line, we have a whole other thing going. So we are very fortunate to have such an abundant variety. Whatever we're in the mood for, we can find. Thanx for a nice photo of the Forest areas. Verena
