another shot from South Dakota. This tree was all by itself in the middle of a field, thought it made a cool shot.

This is technically wonderful shot, follows the rules of thirds fairly well, the colors are soft and lovely, the focus sharp and clear. On a personal level, just my humble opinion, it doesn't really do much for me on a wow level (sorry, just trying to be more honest in my comments)...although it would make a nice desktop with all its open space.

Experience is what you get when you don't get what you want...
I love the simplicity of this scene. In the area I live in I occasionally will see a lone tree in the middle of a field. Wonderful colors too ... very nicely captured Pam.

This could be anywhere in Missouri as well Pam. Nice spot and great follow up with photo. It truly shows the warm color of summer. Hopefully years from now someone will say: "Look at that big tree."
