This is the final image of my run down into duck country where I grabbed all the cloud and sunset images in two hrs from the time I left the house until I returned. It was one of the most productive two hours I have ever spent photographically. Usually I do not come back with that many usable images. Don’t know what I did wrong (ha). This little series is all linked together (many thanks to those of you who tried to teach me how to make links and to EJ who finally succeeded getting it through my thick skull). This last image is of course of the sun finally disappearing to grace the eyeballs of other photographers further West before finding it’s final resting place somewhere over the Pacific. Happy Trails Mr. Sun and……thanks! See Arrival Of Sundown and Almost Gone
Love it, the sky closing down to dark and just the small hint of orange where the sun slipped away, and that big big sky... so peaceful. (Numerous people have tried to tell me how to link but, alas, I remain ignorant... maybe I'll go look up EJ...)

The sun is gone but has left that beautiful glow behind. The sky is still bright. Very nice shot once again, Pat. Your two hours trip was definitely worth the trouble.
I just wonder why nobody found the reference to Shirley Bassey [am not quite sure of spelling] song which was nice and pretty but not half as charming as this image of yours, dear Pat.
Pat, You know I love the sunset and sunrise images and this is beautiful! I'm so glad you got the linking figured out. I have it written down in case of a brain fart! Lol! ♪ ♫ :)sandi♪ =^..^=
This Image GRABBED my EYE. That's Why I Stopped By.
