NOTICE: THIS IMAGE IS NOT TO BE POSTED ON ANY OTHER WEBSITE. I have been sitting on this one a long while, knowing that it won't score very high. Even so, I personally have always liked it, so here it is. Taken in Nov of 2007 on Bayou Dequeane when my neighbors took me out in their boat.

A pretty face is fine but what a farmer needs is a woman that can carry a pig under each arm
It does have deep golden tones and wonderful movement. The water trail is like stepping stones that lead to shore. If you like it, post it I say!

It is a very interesting shot but you had to explain what this is on the water. A bit of the boat shown would have been even better, I think.

Why do the pictures come out square when the lens is round??
The big ripple swerve in the watery bottom two thirds and the fall foliage in the top third, great comp and a cool subject, works for me.

It's an excellent photo. Catching the water's repeated undulation like you did makes for an unusual but very graceful image. I like it very much.

This is a great shot, Pat. The golden landscape is very appealing, as is the sweeping arc of the waves shot at that low angle. Shooting from a boat is often very difficult, but you've handled it beautifully. Well done!
