NOTICE: THIS IMAGE IS NOT TO BE POSTED ON ANY OTHER WEBSITE. This is an unusual sight for Louisiana-the barn that is. With our mild weather year round, barns are as rare sight. This is down a dead end road near a large city-sort of a urban oasis. There are horses all up and down this road. I need to go visit it again.

A lovely country setting, Pat. The red is a standout & I like the lines of the white picket fence for contrast. Superbly captured.

I feel like a have a foot propped up on the lower board while I enjoy the view Owd Momma. The old board fences have given way to the plastic-fiberglass fences. Less maintenance and they do look good.
A great scene with all the elements of summer. Love it.

You're right Pat. Barns here in Louisiana are far and few between.

A classic country postcard, Pat! The red barn and white corral fences look terrific amidst the blue sky and all that summer greenery. Marvelous composition, as well. I love that fence in the foreground. Very nicely done!

I love bright red barns and this is lovely. Around here all the barns, including the red ones, are surrounded by snow. Sure love the white fencing. Pretty shot, Pat.

The owner must be very rich to afford all that vinyl fencing!!! Its exactly like ours...lol...but not as much as on this farm! A beautiful capture with such eye grabbing color!

Oh how I'd love to have that farm and then I could be somewhere warm and have horses again.

Gorgeous country shot and love all the angles the fences are making and that great looking barn

It looks really idyllic! But I think I would prefer it without the fence in the front, it would like to see more of the wild grass and the stream behind it, since it makes good contrast to the field behind. Anyway, the colors are great, and it portrays a beautiful country scene.
