I did noticed that the flag looks relatively new and that little tree in front of the flag is young too. Probably planted in the recent years past. The new flag and the planting of a tree (which people do who plan to see the tree grow and age) is a good and healthy statement about the people inside. At least, I hope so. That's my take and I am sticking with it.

From the looks of all the grass and the blinds on the windows I would say that the house is occupied only for a few months in the year. Nice find and capture.
Since now it is agreed that the inhabitants are blessed with some other kind of affluence, I would like to note here the great eye of the artist [yourself, dear Pat:)] in showing this flag and most particularly the wonderful chimney! It is a very special form of object, completely unknown in Polish rural architecture... Both useful and beautiful. Gets well with the wooden planks of the hose, but how well would it go with a house made of brickwork!!! Thanks, Pat. SAM & SAAB
Momma, today (and probably in the past as well) having money seems/seemed to be the only important thing. If one has sufficient money to buy the necessary food and goods and one is satisfied as well, think one can't have a better life. Therefore I like to agree with your narrative. Your good image is a perfect visualization of that Pat.
