I hold it true that thoughts are things; They're endowed with bodies, breath and wings:
And that we send them forth to fill the world with good results, or ill.
That which we call our secret thought speeds forth to earth's remotest spot, leaving it's blessings or it's woes like tracks behind it as it goes.
We build our future, thought by thought for good or for ill, yet know it not.
Yet so the universe was wrought .
Thought is another name for fate.
Choose then thy destiny and wait, for Love brings Love and Hate brings Hate. - Henry Van Dyke.
I would say the three whos reflections are hidden are cloned... maybe only two of them. I can't see aynthing that really gives the copies away... although the back one in that centre row of three looks like it has a sharper edge along it's back... but that was all I could spot.
You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being.

Paul, let me first say that's a magnificent manipulated image (if it's even manipulated). If so, I have to guess that only one or two duckies were original at your image. However, I'll believe any answer of you. Wonderful done! Regards, Cornelius
Beautiful job and if you indeed added some duckies, you've done an even better job than I would expect from you. Lovely composition and that's one busy Mom.
Isn't that a proud Mama duckie??!! And since you are way smarter then me, then I won't even guess as to what's what..but just that I love the photo..thankies, this is just ducky!! Verena
Logged out ... logged back in when I saw your image here Paul on the front page.
I love the idea behind your manipulation. Which is done extremely well.
Telltale signs are the posturings of the lil' puffs of feathers. But, dam ... you did a good job. Going to bookmark this and hopefully it will not get lost in my others and I will come back with an answer.
Not going to cheat and read the above comments either. This would be an excellent puzzle for kids. Age dependent of course. 'Cause it's a challenge alright.
That said ... your manipulation really kicks up the balance of the composition. Some clarity and detail is lost ... comparing mom to her brood. But, minor at best.
Got a smile and a round of applause from me for your post work.

Hmm, I'll play your little game :) I count two, maybe three duckies that weren't in the original picture. My 'educated guess' is made by examining the fairly identical reflections on three duckies' beaks, and the ripples in the water. :) Am I right? Do I get a prize? :D :) Have a great day!
