"Now I think there is only one subject worth my attention and that is the recognition of the spiritual side of the world and, within this recognition, the condition of my own spiritual state.... I would say that there exist a thousand unbreakable links between each of us and everything else, and that our dignity and our changes are one. The farthest star and the mud at our feet are a family..." Poet Mary Oliver

Paul, I suppose the first part of your narrative is from Mary Oliver because it is enclosed in quotation marks. If so, the second part of your narrative may come from you.
Doesn't matter whether this is right or wrong, because in both cases the author hits the nail on the head.
Your very nice photograph visualizes tolerance, respect, and patience. An example for many of us, including myself.
Well done again!

This is a scene I see often and also I see the self-important jerk who has to drive around everyone else - wonderfully done with a lovely quote.
