Paul, by watching this very fine photograph, this comparison came into my mind.
The partly submerged whale has somewhat the appearance of a patrolling submarine, while it's observed by a naval aircraft, aka seagull, 😁 .
I wonder however how and where you have taken this image.

Right time and place for a terrific capture ... kind of wish CAEDES had movies too ... this would have been awesome!
