There's a time, at the end of the day, when the lake is quiet. Nature reclaims the ear.. crickets, water lapping, a loon call. Still, in your mind, you can hear the echos of the day's fun..

Never rebuke while you’re still indignant about a fault committed—wait until the next day, or even longer. Then calmly, and with a purer intention, make your reprimand. You’ll gain more by a friendly word than by a three-hour quarrel. -Josemaria Escriva

A stunning shot, Quiet and your descriptive words compliment it perfectly. The colours at full resolution are absolutely exquisite and I love the contrails and bats/swallows in the sky.

I could live very happily with a 6ft-square enlargement of this on my lounge wall.

A joy to behold!!

The thing that goes the farthest, towards making life worthwhile, it costs the least and does the most, is just a pleasant smile.
