The "Rickmer Rickmers" was built in Bremerhaven in 1896 as a steel hulled Windjammer of 318 ft. length and 40 ft. breadth for the German Rickmers Line. She has a long history which you can read either here: Rickmer Rickmers or a more detailed history with photo of the crew etc. here: Rickmer Rickmers Today this ship is a permanent landmark of Hamburg.

Ask your Congressmen and Senators why our existing wells aren't pumping more than 3 days a month? There a lot of unused capacity in existing wells.

In my country there's the saying: "Wooden ships, iron seamen; Iron ships, wooden seamen." Think however that the seamen at the Rickmer Rickmers were the well-known exception to the rule.
Excellent post Raj. Must have been a wonderful sight to see this ship sailing with all her sails. Thanks for sharing my friend.
