This Image GRABBED my EYE. That's Why I Stopped By.
Thanks For Sharing ! The happiest people don't have the best of everything.....they just make the best of everything they have.
Had to view this full screen to really appreciate the expression you captured on this fellows face ... simply priceless and very well done Raj. You have me leaving the page with a smile.
I thought you meant for us not to be afraid! lol You must have been quick to capture this fellow before he scurried away. You are right about them always having this look on their faces. Very wonderfully captured, Raj!
Who was that Masked stranger? I don't know but he left a silver bullet shaped remnant behind. Good post Raj. They are very common around my part of the world. People still hunt and trap them for the fur. Nice to put a face to a name. Pleased to meet you.
hmm, seeing how raccoons are nocturnal, from what I remember, DO be afraid. could've sworn daylight activity was a sign of a rabid animal.
as for the shot itself, the expression is an interesting one. As Pat mentioned, there's a bit of a violet/indigo tinge to it's fur. Could it be you had the white balance setting a bit too cool?
Please, even if you don't visit my gallery, check out my "Faves".I've left them intact since day "1", and would like it if every image there got the attention they deserved.
