Mr. and Mrs. C.G. (Canadian Goose) with their newborns. He leads the way and she swims behind keeping an eye on the young ones. The whole family jumped into the water when I approached.
My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
Well done Raj, I love the lighting in this shot, and those ripples, I do agree about the crop at the top, but otherwise I think it's a splendid shot. Tigs♥ =^..^=
Excellent shot and love the look on their faces, keeping track of where you are. Such proud parents protecting the adorable fuzzy little ones. Beautiful colours and composition, love the action of the water
Perfectly focused, wonderful subject matter, excellent colors, fantastic timing, horrific composition. If you cropped off on the left at least half of the area from the back of the bird to the edge and stuck it on the right side, I'd be a happy camper. Always have extra area in the direction of the subject to achieve a feeling of motion.
I am sure that is the mother in the rear keeping an eye out for stray photographers :)
I would have been tempted to crop off some of the upper water area.
