As the camera was on spot focus I could not get the whole fly in sharp focus. I tried to change the focus but the fly just left - disgusted at the delay!
'Continuing' focus would have worked..or 'Auto'...I always have mine set to that, cos the wee buggers are unpredictable..and don't like us humans swatting them!...lol ☺
you got it great though...details are good as is the D of field too

I guess flies are very impatient models! You got the results I would have desired in a shot like this, Raj. In my opinion, only partial focus on this kind of subject is much more artistic that having the entire fly in focus. Well done.
