First the big wood pigeon then now the red squirrel. The feeding time is over. Now the young ones must learn to search for worms and things. I'll take down the feeder and clean the big mess created.

Such a popular restaurant you're running there, Raj. Nice portrait of the red squirrel. I have a "squirrel-proof" feeder that closes when more weight than a bird sits on the perch. The squirrel always seem to out-smart the feeder.
Smile, without a reason why. Love, as if you were a child, Smile, no matter what they tell you Don't listen to a word they say Cause life is beautiful that way. (From the film "Life Is Beautiful")
I know what you mean Raj - when this batch runs out I'm done until next winter. I've got grackles coming now along with all my little sparrows. I love these little red squirrels you have in Europe - a kind we never see here - their ears are so cute. Excellent capture.
The red squirrel is too cute for words Raj!!! You know when your feeder is filled with those tasty morsels, all the critters will be headed your way. So now your former patrons will have to forage in the wild since Raj's Resturant has officially closed for the season. Nice captured Raj!!!:-):-):-)!!!
His fur looks a little scruffy, maybe he's been in a fight or 2 - just love the long fur on the ears. Perfect timing with the way you've captured his one leg up.
Whenever I see an image of these red squirrels I am always struck by how well known they are in Europe yet we never see them here...a cute little guy and tho' you didn't appreciate his appearance at the feeder at least you captured a great shot of him.
Gorgeous image! In the UK, reds have almost disappeared in all but a few areas and been replaced by the introduced greys. There have been various attempts to redress the balance and in some areas this seems to be working. I've never seen one, but would love to see one in my local woods one day!
