A view of one of the canals in Hamburg. It looks as though this cannot be in a city but behind these trees are rows of parked cars!

One of the many, many canals in Hamburg Raj. Last night I've heard on the TV that Hamburg has more canals than Amsterdam and Venice together.

Very fine image again.

PS: cars are a 'fact of life'. If someone doesn't like them in an image, they can be cloned out after uploading and saving, lol.

A majestic view of this canal!....

Interesting to what Cornelius said about you having more water canals than any one else!

Now that would be a great foto op...snapping them 'All'!!!...

I love the beautiful trees in this and the bridge. I would love to canoe on that canal. (First, I have too get a canoe!) Another excellent shot, Raj.

The trees seem to protect the canal and it makes a lovely scene. It looks very peaceful. A fine capture Raj

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust

It is surprising to know the cars are back there Raj - you'd never know it from this lovely shot. I'd love to take a boat through there.

This is such a beautiful view. The lighting and editing are wonderful.

I have a very old B&W postcard photo of my father boarding a boat on a canal in Hamburg, which he sent me when I was a little girl. He used to have occasional business there...I don't know why.

This is a lovely scene and I think it would be a great outing to take a trip down this canal.

You are so right Raj, it's so hard to imagine that you're in the heart of a great city. A beautiful "rural" image.
