Oh my goodness - that really is scary - he may be beautiful but this is as close as I would ever want to be to a snake of any kind.
However, I can see that this is a very well taken photo displaying its beauty perfectly.
I have only ever seen one in the wild (in Australia) and did the brave tourist thing and had one draped round my neck in Singapore.I have a fear of snakes - just as well I live in NZ where we do not have any.

A favorite, the capture is stunning, the light, the details and wow the colors are mind boggling. Perfect. This green tree python is so beautiful, it doesn't even scare me. well, I admit it's easy to feel this way when viewing on a screen.

I saw a snake like this once, an Emerald Tree Boa, and I can say that I wasn't tempted to get acquainted! lol Nice one.
