"The Honeymooners" is a temporary title... I can't think of a more suiting one right now. But... This is my first desktop using a tablet. I'm already spoiled on it! ;) I can't see myself drawing with a mouse anymore. I love this picture, I made it with joy in mind. I tried to make it very warm, and leave a somewhat "cartoony" touch. Thanks for checking it out! -John.

This is really nice, John...don't you just love the tablet? I wish I could use mine more effectively, but they don't make a left-handed one and it's hard to use, seeing that I am left handed, but they do deliver a more stable line than any mouse. I think you've achieved your stated purpose here, and I also like the title :)

Picture Purrrfect . You never see advertisements for string…they make string, yet you never see a commercial for string!!

I too have a tablet and have not explored it thoroughly. You have given me inspiration! I love the expression on the man's face...the forced grin, the worried eyebrows. It tells a story, but I'd know which story if I knew whether they had just arrived or were about to leave! Love the title, the colors, and the use of the medium! I hope you post more. P.S. Was it on purpose that you made the cloud look like a dolphin? I think so!

Thanks for all the kind words! I have an updated version here if anyone would like to check it out. And to answer the above question, it's after the honeymoon, that exact thought went through my head as to when this picture should have been taken. It does have quite a story behind it, and I'm glad you picked it up. But my idea wasn't to make the guy look worried, it was to try and make him look warm. However, you can see it however you'd like, that's the beauty of art :)

Here's a link to the updated picture if you're interested at all.
