This is the same bloom and buds I posted on the black flannel back drop yesterday. This time I used a white satin material backed with white felt material. Hope you enjoy this shot too. Thank you for your comments and time spent viewing my work.

I think that this is my favorite of the two. The background just screams purity. The rose is beautiful and unblemished. Excellant work Stan.

Stan - Some excellent photography. While the black backdrop better shows the flower, in my opinion, the white background gives the rose a softer, more delicate appearance. I doubt, however, that the thorns soften with any backdrop :-). Thad
