This Portulaca plant is growing up in and around a big stump of drift wood in our gardens. Several plants actually and we never planted even one seed there! So somehow they seeded themselves. Very pretty they are and most welcome to stay. Thanks for your views and comments!!

Stan, I was frightened to a certaint extent after reading only your title in my friends-list. I was afraid that you would have depicted a scene of that era, lol. It's a relief to me to see that, instead of this, you have provided us again with a wonderful image. Thanks for that, my friend.

Regards, Cornelius.

They are fairly hardy. They almost look like succulents. I love that they have many colors on one plant too. This one chose a pretty background for itself and fertile soil no doubt, to grow in.

I bet that flower somehow heard the news about your wonderful roses, and wanted to see for himself. Beautiful shot, Stan.
