Blue Heron looking over his favorite fishing grounds. Took a lot of patience on my part for this....less patience than he has. I looked down to do another adjustment for some more shots and BOOM..He was in flight and gone once again.

An excellent capture of the Heron Paul. I luv the reflections and clarity in this image. I have a folding stool i use when i'm trying to get a shot of these birds. If you sit and wait they usually return. Nice work, S&F

He's beautifully sharp, the colours are strong without oversaturation, the off centred comp is spot on and ladderlike pattern of the tree he's standing on has lovely geometry as well. Great shot Paul.

Beautiful reflections, Paul. You're luckier than I. I can't even get them to land. In fact, I never see them at all! The reflected image makes such pretty patterns with it's copy on the bank. So pretty.
