Well, after a few tips from people here is my first Fractal using Apophysis. I'm still rather lost in this program hehe, but here we go. I added a border when I had finished. It's fun so I hope I'll be able to go on to make some nice images.

Ah, nice. I think you have a great Apophysis career ahead of you :) I can already tell you've got the eye. Yes, a bit daunting at first, but it doesn't take long to learn. Great job here on your first and I look forward to many more. -mike-

Fantastic first flame. This looks lovely and smooth to me and I like the colour. It seems to suit the theme of your interpretation well - there's something very calm, contained and strong about it.

I'm not a fan of framing desktops, but if they must be framed I prefer the sort of simple look you've gone for here.

Really looking forward to seeing your work progress.

I am honoured to be listed as a friend or to see an image of mine as a favourite, but I keep lists of neither. This helps me appreciate images uploaded by strangers as well as friends. Please understand that a failure to reciprocate in kind indicates a lack of appreciation for neither gesture nor work.

Not a bad start at all Bonnie ! It has a nice flowing shape & a beautiful bold neon color ! But I'm the first to admit that apo is a continuous learning process ! :D Don't be afraid to experiment with all the little tabs & whatnot... remember... undo is your best friend ! I should know.

Much better than my first flame.....I can tell you. Lauren is spot on as you never stop learning with Apophysis. I`m still lost as well sometimes and I`ve been at it for ages.

Gosh...there's an "undo"? Well, I may just go back and try again. I never did find that one, and here I was starting from scratch every time...lol...
