I took this photo last weekend at a Pagan gathering I attended.

It was incredibly wet and we were wading through thick mud but it was so much fun and very informative.

This was the ritual maze that was walked on the evening of day one and lit on the evening of day two. The words are from a song/chant that is often used at these rituals. :)

We don’t make art to show someone what something looks like. All this requires is eyes (or a lens). Art is supposed to have meaning, emotion, power, or magic. Alan & Mario "FourThirds"

The great circle of life hey Bonnie. :o)

The early Roman Catholic church tried so hard to kill ancient festivals like this by inventing things like Christmas, & Easter.
As a firm agnostic few things impress me, but as an Englishman I always have a soft spot for the downtrodden underdog.

A Great post but if it should win the contest I'll eat my hat .. have you got any salt, & pepper ?

Big brother's watching you :o) A mistreated dog should try to leave a deposit on their masters best carpet, after all it's important to establish who's boss ... Welcome to the last resort. :o)
