Found this old wagon longside a country road in Wisconsin. I think the horses must have run off and left these people to walk to town. Poor folks!!

Not only do they have to walk but there's snow to struggle through also. Horses were not considerate! This was a great find and nicely presented.

Maybe a gull durn horse thief took 'em. Can't trust no one no how. Great shot of the covered wagon. Beautiful clarity, colors, and lighting. Very nice, Carol.

Interesting shot...canvas top on the wagon, so it must not have been there long. I wonder if the wagon broke down somehow and the people rode the horses home... This is another of your interesting counryside images. Very nice!

Carol - If I were a horse pulling that wagon, and came to that hill, I'd unhitch and head for the Tick's OK Corral! (I think this may be the tallest hill in Wisconsin, from my recollection of relatively flat land.) Thad
