This is part of a mill grinder used in Potters Mill, an old mill in the Eastern part of Iowa. I thought it an interesting piece of work for the contest.
I wondered if someone would re-invent the wheel for the contest so you've found and captured a great entry, Carol, and the red siding on the building and greenery add some nice color to the scene too...best of luck.

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
Smile, without a reason why. Love, as if you were a child, Smile, no matter what they tell you Don't listen to a word they say Cause life is beautiful that way.
Very nice piece of photo art work with lovely looking folage at the front that looks like a Lilly plant and I like the colours plus texture in this capture too.
