As I took the photo, I found that Amish men were on their way to take this barn down for the lumber in it. Looked to me that they would be getting a lot of nice wood there. I did a sepia finish on it.
Carol, even though the demolition will yield a lot of scrap wood, I think it's a pity that this characteristic barn is being demolished. I think that because of the state of maintenance it hasn't been used for a long time. Here too, business take precedence over nostalgia. The only thing that remains of this barn is the scrap wood and your beautiful and artfully edited photograph.
So very interesting, I like the fact that they are saving the wood for future use. Your added touch of originality makes this even more intriguing, it has textures and the style of the art work is quite beautiful. Bravo.
